Our Story
Cory and Aubrey met early on in their first year at Georgia Southern. Both were eager to get involved on campus and ended up crossing paths in the craft room during a poster-making session for Hall Council.
"I remember thinking how cute he was, and how my friend Ashley should try to date him, since I already had a boyfriend at the time."
After a year of close friendship, Aubrey and Cory ended up working together on an executive board for Residence Hall Associatin. The two worked closely together for a year, slowly falling for one another along the way.
On April 20, 2013, Cory asked Aubrey to be his girlfriend. On February 8, 2016, Cory asked Aubrey to be his fiance'.
Our Story
Cory and Aubrey met early on in their first year at Georgia Southern. Aubrey was eager to get involved on campus, and Cory needed an easy way to get class credit. Fate had it that their paths soon crossed at a poster-making session in one of the dorms.
"I remember thinking how cute he was, and how my friend Ashley should try to date him, since I already had a boyfriend at the time." HA.
After a year of close friendship, Aubrey and Cory ended up working together on an executive board for Residence Hall Association. The two worked closely together for a year, slowly falling for one another along the way.
Eventually the pair started spending more and more time together, from afternoons at Sweetheart Circle to study dates over a Rodney Atkins Pandora station.
On April 20, 2013, Cory asked Aubrey to be his girlfriend. On February 8, 2016, Cory asked Aubrey to be his fiancee'.
Cory and Aubrey enjoy spending time together outside, whether it be with a paintball gun or a shotgun, curled up by a fire or swimming in the pool. They also Netflix-marathon, often. Typically you can find Aubrey and Cory binge watching Reign, The Blacklist, Friends, Gossip Girl or some random documentary they've found.
Aubrey and Cory both love to travel. On any given vacation, you can bet they'll be up and down the road from GA to TN and everywhere in between. They love going to Nashville to hear some great country music. They love going to Hilton Head to walk along the beach. They love Disney World and Universal Studios, St. Simons Island, Stone Mountain
