A wedding, a bachelorette and a thousand dollars later

I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by. Yesterday reminded me that we are now exactly TWO MONTHS away from our big day. *Praise the Lord*
Although a year+ engagement felt like forever at first, I'm now constantly wishing we had more time to plan and save. Although, other times, we both wish we had just pocketed the cash, eloped and run away. HA!

Several events have taken place over the past few weeks that have only made us more excited for our upcoming nuptials.
A few weekends ago, we attended our friend Crissie's wedding, and it was FABULOUS! I've worked with Crissie for a few years now, so I've seen her throughout their dating phase, the engagement and everything leading up to their wedding! Getting to be part of her wedding process was so rewarding from a friendship prospective as well as from a fellow bride-to-be! I'm not sure Cory and I would have ANYTHING done at this point had I not been able to follow her example, ha!
On the day of, Crissie looked STUNNING. Not like, "Oh that's a pretty bride." I mean STUNNING, When we looked at her professional photographs after the fact, I wanted to frame them all. Not in an, "I'm in love with her," way, just in a "WOW I hope mine look like that!" way.
I'm not weird, I swear.
I loved holding Cory's hand throughout their ceremony, watching Chris & Crissie say their vows, sharing their first dance. Of course I shed a tear when she and her father danced.
The entire event was so sweet and romantic. Crissie seemed really happy, and I hope they continue to be that way! I'm so thankful I was able to share that evening with my fiance and day-dream about our wedding too!

Cory and I have also been crossing meeting after meeting off our lists. We met with a former high school peer of mine, Kyle Moore, who will be playing the piano at our ceremony (PS: you should DEFINITELY book him for your next event; he's extremely talented and knows "The Office" theme-song my heart), to go over our musical selections. We've been taking dance lessons (yes, actually moving to more than the Cha-Cha Slide) with the amazing Kitty Pruitt at Georgia Southern for our first dance. We've got florists, catering and DJ meetings coming up along with my dress fitting next week. Good GRIEF it's all coming together!

This past weekend I had a much needed break from all of the wedding planning, when my cousin, sister and I road-tripped to DISNEY WORLD! This mini-vacation counted as PART ONE of my bachelorette party, and I'm so thankful to have had this adventure with my family members! We went all over Magic Kingdom, collecting free stickers and fast passes from every cast member we could find. We took over Disney Springs, made friends with our TGIF waiter (so long, wedding diet) and made LOTS of other memories along the way.

Although the trip started off shaky (what vacation am I part of that doesn't, right?) with a nail in the tire, it ended up being a magical weekend I'll never forget.

I couldn't ask for better family. <3 They had every little detail planned-- from ensuring I had Disney wedding "ears," to spending an entire evening blowing up balloons and trying to tape up decorations, they really made the trip so special.
I cannot WAIT for Part 2 with the rest of my bridesmaids coming up!!!! *What happens in Savannah, stays in Savannah* teehehee

I can't believe we're almost there! I'm SO ready to be his wife, and to spend the rest of my life with this sweet guy. We're SO looking forward to celebrating EVEN MORE! Here we go, folks. We're in it for the long HALL!
